The glorious Lifestyle & Garden Show comes to the Vuleka Conference Centre in Botha’s Hill the weekend of 25 and 26 October, supported by 1000 Hills Tourism to highlight a myriad outdoor living, gardening, pets and car exhibits.
A selection of growers; nurseries; retailers; garden product suppliers; manufacturers; landscapers; and those involved in the garden industry have been invited to showcase their wares and services catering to those with tiny green spaces, patios, window boxes or indoor gardens; to those with larger properties, farm to fork, and provisions to promote water-wise gardens.
Distinguished Gentlemen’s Club collective
In addition to the focus on creating beautiful gardens, there will elements of complementary lifestyle exhibits – such as a fleet of magnificent vintage, classic and collectable cars – all part of the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Club collective – promoting men’s health ahead of their annual Movember campaign. As well as the gorgeous old vehicles, there are some brand new cars and bikes on show.
Home exhibits include a selection of statement art, stained glass and metal framed gates and entryways; ideas to create circular features and fire pits from old bricks; bespoke garden benches; budget friendly greenhouses; and garden drainage and watering systems.
In between browsing, visitors are invited to enjoy some refreshments in the tea garden – there will be a coffee wagon, snacks, meals, and teatime treats for sale.
1000 Hills Tourism has partnered with the Lifestyle & Garden Show to assist in marketing the event, to be held once more at the spacious and accessible grounds of the tranquil Vuleka Conference Centre – a stone’s throw away from 1000 Hills Chef School and Pot and Kettle.
