The event was a celebration of two families concluding lobola negotiations, looking forward to traditional and civil ceremonies.
A day filled with love and joy, the pair and their families have expressed their satisfaction with the process as they share similar values, steeped in tradition.
“We wish these two incredible people an eternal union, filled with love and fulfilment. We look forward to the next phase of their ceremonies, as this was just the initial step. In African culture we know, a groom never really concludes lobola but we are pleased that the Mgudlwa Royal House of the Abathembu Kingdom have honoured ooHlathi in bringing these two together, in this dignified traditional process.” comments Sizwe Dhlomo, family spokesperson.
The families wish the happy couple a rewarding and lasting union.
