WOMAD Cape Town 2026 brings a vibrant celebration of global music, arts and dance to the Mother City from 15 to 24 September.
With its new home base at the Artscape Theatre Centre, the 10-day festival will spread across Cape Town, bringing a mix of ticketed and free public performances to venues including the UCT Baxter Theatre and V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre.
Highlights include the Korean Culture Concert on 18 September, featuring a world-first fusion of South African Amapiano and Korean contemporary pop; the Desmond Tutu United 4 Humanity Peace Concert on 19 September, with local and international acts; and the New Generations Concert on 19 September, showcasing emerging South African talent.
The festival culminates on Heritage Day, 24 September, with a free celebration at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre.
